Am I Eligible?

Seven South Street Treatment Centre is a long term, residential facility admitting men with substance abuse issues who are prepared to work towards recovery and are committed to an abstinent based lifestyle, who meet the eligibility criteria for an intake interview.

Admission Process

1.
Initial Inquiry and Screening:

Prospective clients can contact our intake team to discuss eligibility and program details.

2.
Assessment:

A comprehensive assessment is conducted to evaluate medical stability, substance use history, mental health status, and readiness for treatment.

3.
Pre-Admission Requirements:

Applicants must be substance-free for at least 72 hours and complete any necessary medical clearances or screenings, including urinalysis.

4.
Admission Decision and Orientation:

Admission is determined upon completion of a clean urinalysis and an assessment of individual needs. Once admitted, clients participate in an orientation process to familiarize them with program expectations and to begin building connections with staff and peers.

5.
Program Entry:

Clients begin their personalized treatment journey with support from our multidisciplinary team.

Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where men can focus fully on recovery.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be 19 years of age or older
  • Be substance free for a minimum of 72 hours, with the ability to pass a urinalysis
  • Demonstrate a desire and responsibility for a recovery goal of abstinence
  • Possess basic literacy skills
  • Be medically stable in order to participate in all aspects of the treatment program
  • Be available to attend each full day of treatment
  • Possess a desire to fully participate in all aspects of the program

What Is My Cost?

For clients with a valid Ontario Health card, the cost of the program is fully covered by Ontario Health. However, as a not-for-profit organization committed to providing comprehensive, life-changing care, we rely greatly on the generosity of donors to maintain and expand our services.
